The Abd el-Kader Education Project Forum honoring the essay students on May 12 in Elkader, IA was well received. The forum engaged state legislators, diplomats, professors, clergy, high school educators, and students who discussed issues and problems of perception between Muslims and non-Muslims. Diverse speakers and entertainment provided for a full evening.
