Two Abd el-Kader Prizes for Educators at $1500 each!
The Abdelkader Education Project (AEP) invites individual educators or a team of teachers to adapt AEP’s educational resources for their classrooms.
Criteria for Entry
Based upon the life story and values of Emir Abd el-Kader, coupled with contemporary connections, educators will:
- Adapt AEP curricula
- Implement three lesson plans AEP Lesson Plan Format.
- Provide reflections and student feedback on the experience
Eligibility
Middle School and High School teachers; College and University faculty, teaching in the United States.
AEP Resources
Materials are adaptable for social studies, history, government, civics, sociology, geography, political science, philosophy, religion, biography, theatre, the military, and leadership development.
